One of Odin's messengers was only moments away from the gate when he began to sound his arrival. The all-father had news for this pantheon that he didn't wish to fumble in the deliverance of. As soon as he arrived he attempted to search for somebody to relay this to.

Miruli swoops down from his post on the wall near the gate, and lands before the messenger with his wings flared. The god of revenge stands full height between the messenger and the gate, and inquires, "What brings you to the gates of Terra d'Memoria? Who are you?"

The messenger immediately stands up straight and snaps a very formal salute to the man. Always very proper, never shaken, it is obvious the runner has dealt with great powers before.
"I have news from the All-Father Odin that he wishes spread throughout the pantheon. Where should I deliver it?"

Miruli considers this then touches the symbols on the gate, and waves the messanger in after taking a few steps inside. Keeping a sharp eye on the messanger for any sudden movements, and folding his wings he replies, "Stand right here. I will make those who are here gather. If this turns out to be a trap, you will curse having ever existed. Cover your eyes in the mean time."
Without waiting for a reply, he closes his eyes for a moment, and creates a bright flash of lightening which causes the gods who remained on this side of the gate to gather. Mostly though to see what the matter is, and those who don't get a long well for once have the sense to keep a bit seperate from each other...

The messenger does what he is told and awaits for the flash of light to calm down. It was so bright it seemed to still seep through his eyelids, which helped him tell when it was over. He saw the grinding of the different Gods so decided to make this quick.
"Lord Odin is setting up a game of strength and wishes for the three strongest from your pantheon to participate directly. All others are invited to come and enjoy the festivities."
Silently he stood, as he had been trained through the centuries, awaiting a response.

Miruli, and Kreige step forward already, and they are already acknowledged to be the two strongest in the pantheon. The other two members of the pantheon there look at each other then Carmine says, "You do it, Atrophy. Contests of strength don't hold my interest."
Atrophy nods before stepping forward as well. "Looks like it'll be the three of us... I doubt we'll lose that easily."

The messenger smiles and takes all of the Gods faces and names if possible into his memory to tell Odin who will be participating. As his last order of buisiness he holds out the official letter to the gathering.
"Alright, when the tournament is ready to begin the parchment will fade to blank. I hope you all enjoy our little gathering, and remember, all of you are invited to come along."
He waited for dismissal to be able to go back home, proud of having gotten this pantheon to assist him.

All three who would participate reach for the letter at the same time, but Kreige manages to grab the letter first with a slight smirk. The goddess of war then says to the messanger, "Go ahead, and go back to Odin now. We'll take care of everything here."
Miruli nods in agreement with Kreige, and taps the gate which causes it to open.

The messenger gives a polite bow and then turns to head out the door. He gives a wave behind him as he repeats for his memory what just transpired. With them so eager this tournament might be of great potential.
