Demetria glided into the Signet pantheon, glancing behind as usual to make sure Bael hadn't strayed. She paused, and braced herself for when Diana and Daniel teleported, then scowled at them.
Diana just looked on impassively, bored looking.
Taking that as the hint that they were still going to behave, Demetria decided to wait to be noticed, as Bael suggested in the Fates.

A man walks toward the new arrivals, and says in a voice that, though fairly quiet, carried a hint of command and seems to carry farther than the volume suggests, "Hello there. Whom are you awaiting?"

"Someone with whom we can speak with," Demetria remarked warily. "Who are you?" She made no effort to conceal her appearance or seem less of what she was. It was never easy to just come out and admit your dark intentions, but much easier to let others infer them.

The man's reddish eyes widen slightly after taking a quick, though more through than before, glance over Demetria's group. He does manage to infer that such a group is not likely to have good intentions, and inwardly wonders who the intended target is. Feeling more wary now in case an attack came against him, the man answers, "I am Ferrer; the one here who deals in rhetoric, and perhaps even control through suggestion rather than force."
Evil doesn't bother him more than just enough to cause him to be wary about a knife to the back when first meeting a being who seemed to be some sort of evil. In his mind, there is a distinction between evil in general, and evil that is directed at him: the first being of use to the one who is evil under some circumstances, and the latter being something that he prefered to avoid due to not enjoying the pain being the target is likely to cause.
"I would not mind speaking with you... With what topic shall we begin?"

"I'm looking for allies, or gods inclined to give me a hand in an upcoming war against some nuisances in our pantheon," Demetria explained. "All favors will be repayed, of course, if you have something in mind."
She was weary of racking up such a debt. Subtly, she shifted her posture into something more sensual in appearance, in hopes that maybe this time the price asked would be easy enough to repay. If not, she doubted she could 'afford' to take on more 'friends'.

"Hm... Perhaps, and that entirely depends on what sort of nuisances are being referred to. I would prefer to side against something that I agree deserves the war, rather than deciding blindly which side to chose just because one asked." With a small smirk, he adds, "Once the war is over, if I take a side, then I will mention what I have in mind. First I want to discover how tasking work is required so that the price will fit the amount of effort used."

A fate's damned neutral Demetria thought with disgust. She glanced back at Bael, wondering if he thought it was worth it to stay around and try to negotiate this man to their side.

Ferrer shakes his head then remarks, "I do have a few last things to say. I have grown rather bored of late, and perhaps I might take a side even if negotations fail." His smirk broadens then he adds, "Perhaps I will even take a different approach."

Bael grimaces upon realizing this was a neutral god but speaks up anyways. "And what approach would that be?"

"Why fight them directly when you find a way to have the enemy at one another's throats? It is a great deal more fun to watch so called allies destroy each other, and contains less risk of injury," Ferrer replies smoothly. "Not to mention, if they kill each other, no one can attempt to enact revenge against you for their death."

"That's not really an option," Demetria sighed. "Alethia and Laura are close sisters, Omnium and Severance are brothers. They are a loving family. It would take a monumental effort to get them to turn on one another. It is easier just to launch a surprise attack."

"Ah... I see." Ferrer frowns and makes a sympathetic noise. "So they have you with no choice then? Well, I certainly cannot let those like yourselves not have options, now can I? Let me give you a hand until they learn not to close off all but the most brutal means to an end."

Demetria purred, gazing at Ferrer through her lashes and cooing, "Why thank you. I promise this deed won't go unpaid for." Her tail gave a little flick. "As to how that payment shall be rendered well... We'll talk about that later. I'd prepare if I were you; I have only a few loose ends to tie up before the attack begins. Bael...? Shall we?" She blew a little kiss Ferrer's way with a wink before turning and taking off back home.

Bael frowns thoughtfully before taking off after Demetria.
Daniel smirks for a moment as he writes down that Ferrer has agreed to provide assistance to Bael and Demetria, but has not stated price yet...with luck it will be something they will be reluctant to agree to.
