A messenger of Odin dropped into the realm of the Egyptian Gods. As soon as he entered he slowed his pace considerably. He was told to watch his manners in the presence of Ra, and that is just as he was going to do. With a very slow pace he walked to find the alter of the greatest of egyptian Gods.

Ra looks at the messenger and raises his head high, expecting the mere errand boy to bow out of respect of nobility. "Who sends you to speak with me?"

As Ra suspects the messenger does give a deep and respectful bow to the God of the sun. His prescence was as majestic as rumored.
"I have been sent by Odin, Ra King of Kings."
Maybe it was laying it on a little thick but that is how the lowly messenger has learned to speak and act around emporers. And those were simply mortal, this man was of a special kind of breed unlike any seen in any pantheon.

"What does Odin want with me?" Ra relaxes in his seat just a bit, pleased that the messenger had manners.

The messenger remains on one knee, head bowed so as not to make eye contact with the God himself. One would actually have to see Ra to believe him though. Odin tends to try to keep his appearance so that he is approachable by the common man. Ra is simply nobility embodied.
"All-Father Odin proposes a friendly game amongst all the new pantheons. A way in which they can get to know one another, greet, drink, cheer, and be merry. The centerpiece of this meeting would be a tournament of strength. Three immortals are requested from the Egyptian pantheon to participate."
He breathed easy after he got all of the message out. He prays that Ra accepts, of all the jobs of the messengers that were sent out he both cursed and felt proud to have been given what might be the toughest.

Ra ponders this for a moment, then stands and speaks. "I'm interested in this idea of Odin's. If you need to stay here you may, but we will think about the participants."

The messenger will wait until he is dismissed to actually rise, right now he stays prostrated on the floor before Ra. He is pleased though that the idea was taken so well.
"You may come anytime you wish Lord of the Sun Ra. When the tournament is ready to begin the words on this letter will fade to blankness. That will be everyone's signal to gather."
The messenger holds the officiall letter above his head with both hands, making it an offering unto Ra.

Ra takes the letter and nods. "Thank you, send word to Odin I may just have my pantheon take part. You may go now."

The messenger rises slowly and backs away at the same time. It isn't until he gets several feet that he stands and begins the trek back to Asgard to deliver the good news.
