Name: Loki
Gender: Male
Domain: God of Trickery
Powers: Shapeshifting and mostly uneffected by the passage of time
Pantheon: Asgard
<Invited>
___
History: Loki is the anti-hero of many Norse legends and said to have tricked his way into becoming a god despite being born to two giants. When construction was being done in Asgard and the gods had run out of funds before finishing, Loki managed to trick the giant hired to finish the work into not being given any sort of funds. Soon after, he gave Sleipner to Odin, most likely without mentioning that the six legged horse was Loki's child due to an incident while shape-shifting.
After giving the gift, he found himself in the good graces of Thor and Odin; though often he would set up Thor to be the fall guy if something appeared to go wrong and Loki at times relied on Thor for when muscle was needed more than trickery. At every opportunity, Loki has cheated the dwarves, despite the time when they literally sewed his mouth shut. The stitches didn't last long, though.
Though often seen as evil, Loki actually has several times acted for the benifit of others and is said to be the one who invented the fishing net.
Appearance: Loki is a skilled shape-shifter, and has taken many forms as the need or whim as struck him. When seen by mortals, he has been described as handsome. In his original form, he is not a very old looking god, and could pass for a young adult mortal if he pleases. He has reddish orange hair, dark eyes, and often dresses in beige or red.
