~Light is gone, by her own choice and the recent events. I will no longer watch you destroy yourselves.~ A mental sigh rings out. ~Your paths are your own to decide on. Choose wisely.~ With that the dim awareness the other Fates have of Celesta and her realm vanishes with the force of a slammed door.
In his realm, Shadow closes his eyes and sinks to his knees in the garden. "Light... no..." he whispers as the white roses before him begin to be watered with salt.
In his realm, Darkness pauses in tending to one of his darklings and looks up. "Light... You acursed fool..." he hisses, but under the faked disgust is a note of guilt and regret.
In the darker side of the Shadow realm, Sombra crackles gleefully. "Thank you, Light dear. Thank you." Smirking, Sombra enters her study and locks the door behind her to consider how best to use this turn of events.
Illuminous returned to her home in time to catch the message. Shocked senseless, she merely falls back into the nearest daisy to spring up and catch her. "Mother," she whimpers, eyes full of tears.
